NetMeeting's real-time audio features let you talk to other people over the Internet. The program now has a Web-based Internet directory and a smaller task-based user interface that can be embedded in a Web page via an ActiveX control.. NetMeeting calls can now be placed to telephones and videoconferencing systems through the use of gateways or gatekeepers. Another new feature is Remote Desktop Sharing, which allows you to access and use one computer from another by sharing the desktop. NetMeeting's Microsoft Internet Directory supports the new version of MSN Messenger so you can find people more quickly on the Internet.
