Description
Fractal
pictures are amazing and surprising abstract images generated using special
mathematical models. Fractal Explorer is a fractal generation tool that can
produce various fractal pictures. It's not intended to be a real tool for
use by professionals - it's more of a toy for people who like a mysterious
and perfect abstract images. Fractal Explorer has simple user-friendly interface
can draw the classical polynomial fractal sets (like the Mandelbrot-set, Julia-set,
Newton-set and theirs variations), 4D-complex fractals (called "quaternions"),
3D "strange" attractors, and IFS. Also, FE has many features for
creation of special effects and improvement of the pictures. Fractal Explorer
has many image-processing and fractal-setup features. JPEG, GIF and Windows
Bitmap output formats allowed. Formulae Compilator (additional plug-in) allows
creating own formulas. IFS Visual Builder allows creating new IFS sets. No
help-file available. Really great tool for all designers.

Description
Kaos Rhei is a program for rendering fractal images which can be used in as stand-alone images, textures or bump maps for 3D rendering. It currently supports more than a dozen different fractal types, including M-Sets, N-Sets and N/M-Sets. A unique formula parser gives you full control over the coloring of the fractals, either using a preset 256-color palette, or applying different formulas to RGB or HLS color space. Image size is only limited by the available memory. Additional features include integration of plasma clouds, several filters, and various fractal options such as inverted fractals. Kaos Rhei is sort of "never finsihed". There might still be some bugs, and the documentation is not yet finished, but it works.

Buttonz & Tilez! is an award-winning software package that should make the life of webmasters easier.
